Wakuli opens first store

A tasty milestone: this week our portfolio company Wakuli opened the doors of their very first coffee shop. In Amsterdam, our home town, in a beautiful corner building on the Linnaeusstraat, you will now find a Wakuli specialty coffee bar!

To date Wakuli only offered coffee subscriptions through your mailbox (very convenient & fresh) but now you can also taste their freshly roasted beans at the new coffee bar at very affordable prices (20% below major coffee chains). Most importantly Wakuli pays a fair wage to all its farmers (20% above most big coffee chains) and higher prices for farmers means better livelihood for farmers and their families and more time and tools to take care of their land which results in high quality beans!

Extra tip: next Saturday, on International Coffee Day, your first cup is on Wakuli.
