We are excited to present the latest addition to Rubio’s ‘Champions of Change’: Arborea, a London-based tech venture that developed a breakthrough microalgae cultivation system called the BioSolar Leaf.

In short: Arborea’s technology uses sunlight to power the growth of microalgae to produce healthy food ingredients, all while generating breathable oxygen and sequestrating large amounts of carbon dioxide (CO2). Thanks to Arborea, we will be able to produce clean and healthy food while harmonizing with Earth’s regular carbon cycles on a massive scale!
