The Berlin-based kids coaching provider cleverly is on mission to empower kids to develop their full potential through their unique mentoring and tutoring offering. With their online platform and on 1-to-1 online sessions with trained educators they support children and young people to achieve their full potential.

School and exam anxiety, learning motivation, self-confidence – these are only a few of the many issues that families around the world are struggling with. The current multi-crises form a background noise on which individual burdens such as bullying – which 23 percent of German children complain about, according to the latest PISA study – adds on and it is taking a toll on the youngest members of society. They have trouble navigating the complexities and expectations that come their way. Unfortunately, the current education system fails to adequately serve the needs of these children.

Hard and soft skills

To help them, cleverly built an online platform that combines both tutoring and mentoring services to support and help these kids to prepare them for their future. From an early age until the beginning of their career, cleverly offers comprehensive educational support that addresses both professional and personal aspects of life (hard and soft skills). By providing courses and mentoring on (among others) self-confidence, focus and anxiety management, cleverly equips young learners with the necessary tools to confidently find their path – equipping them with the hard and soft skills they need to thrive in a rapidly changing world.

Reinvented the go-to-market approach

At this moment cleverly is the only player in the DACH region that has reinvented the go-to-market approach for mental health and academic services. Rather than targeting traditional budgets like public/government or private/out-of-pocket, cleverly works with corporates who are willing to subsidize part of their employees’ household expenditure on education, which makes tutoring and mentoring services accessible for a much broader group of children.

One of the most pressing issues of our time

At Rubio we believe that cleverly can be a game changer because they are targeting one of the most pressing issues of our time: the strengthening of personal competencies that schoolchildren need for their lives today and their future.
