Tamara Obradov new Venture Partner Rubio

After years of close collaboration, we’re happy to welcome Tamara Obradov as Venture Partner at Rubio 🙌 Tamara brings together a sharp strategic mind and a strong drive to build ventures that matter. With over a decade in venture capital, she’s helped shape 17 early-stage, mission-driven companies — not just by investing, but by rolling up her sleeves and working alongside teams to scale solutions with real impact.

Tamara brings a rare blend of academic, strategic, and hands-on experience. She holds an MSc in Business-Society Management from Erasmus University and an MBA from Harvardbusinessschool, and started her career in strategy consulting at Booz & Co. Over the years, she has built deep expertise in Tech for Good — with a particular focus on blockchain, web3 and AI — and is well-versed in navigating the space where innovation meets societal impact.

Tamara also plays an active role on the boards and investment committees of several leading investors, including the European Innovation Council Fund, ROMInWest’s Transition Fund, and the Graduate Entrepreneurs Fund.

At Rubio, she joins our People Tech team — where we back entrepreneurs working on the foundations of a resilient society. Tamara will focus on some of the most pressing and complex challenges in this space: access to affordable housing, future-proof employment, the fair use of data, and digital safety.

With her experience in tech-driven innovation and mission-driven governance, she’s perfectly placed to help founders turn bold ideas into scalable solutions — and to ensure that technology truly serves people.
