NoPalm Ingredients achieves world-first: sustainable palm oil alternative now at industrial scale

In just three years, NoPalm Ingredients has reached a major milestone: scaling from lab experiments to 120,000-liter fermentation—an unprecedented achievement in the field.

This breakthrough proves that food industry waste can be upcycled into high-quality, food-grade oil at industrial scale. And it matters: this oil can replace palm oil without deforestation, with 90% lower CO₂ emissions and 99% less land use. Unlike many other alternatives, NoPalm’s oil is also cost-competitive.

Large-scale trials with industry partners are already underway, and full commercial adoption is on the horizon.
