💸 Investment News 💸: OpenUp

Mental health issues are a pressing and growing challenge to our society, affecting about 25% of the European population every year. The solutions however, remain largely inaccessible due to an overloaded healthcare system. Until now. Our latest addition to Rubio’s ‘Champions of Change’, the Dutch health tech venture OpenUp Group, is on a mission to make mental health care accessible to everyone through its two subsidiaries: OpenUp and iPractice. 

We are impressed by the drive of Gijs Coppens, Floris Rost van Tonninge, Bertien Dumas, Rik Plender and the others of the OpenUp team, to change the way our mental health system is organised. We expect their approach will have a tremendous impact on the day to day life of many people, especially for those who do not find their way to a psychologist.
